　　一天的清晨，Dan 骑着飞开的摩托，在街道上行驰。一不小心刚好撞上另一方向行驶过来的汽车，摔到在地，骨折住进了医院。
　　Dan 开始堕落，他觉得自己毫无意义，在梦中他还梦见了另一个自己，和他在房檐边互相拉扯争辩，突然！坠落下去。Dan 被自己的梦给吓醒，他在床边不断的喘气，这时他想到了Socrates…

這電影劇本，改編自Dan Millman的自傳小說。Millman’s book is technically called a “fictionalized autobiography”.  Yet Socrates is appearing on rooftops in a split second, materializing in Dan’s bed while he is getting it on with a girl, and forcing Dan to have a heightened sense of his surroundings.  In reality, people don’t have those kind of powers.
